Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is always free and we pride ourselves on making contemporary arts and culture accessible to everyone.
If you haven’t been to our Nuit Blanche before or need a refresher, here are some tips on how to enjoy the evening:
Nuit Blanche is never in just one place for the evening. From our “featured works” locations, to events at small businesses, from our independent curators to impromptu jams, there is a lot to experience in one night. Each year we print a (free) pocket map, launch a free app and update our webpage/socials with info about what’s going on. Take a look, plan a route and enjoy as much as you can.
Also: Forget everything we just said.
Keep in mind that many of our exhibitions/performances are outside in the evening, late September in Winnipeg. Dress for the weather and plan for the outdoor experience.
We plan our exhibitions so they are in close proximity to each other and accessible via bike, walking, rolling (skateboard or onewheels) or any other creative way to get around. We provide free transportation between exhibits so you can enjoy the evening and focus on the art, not the car.
Okay, okay, we also understand that you may want to carpool, drive downtown and park. The “Don’t drive” suggestion is not a “one size fits all”. We know some attendees may face barriers without vehicle transport. If this is you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to projects@nuitblanchewinnipeg.ca so we can chat accessibility.
In recent years, we have had FREE designated Winnipeg Transit shuttles and water buses at shuttle stops throughout each zone to help facilitate pedestrian travel. Please stay tuned to for more information about the 2026 Shuttle schedule.
